   When I first picked this hammer up and swung it, I thought to myself, “I still prefer my old wood handle Plomb”, which inherited. Then I picked up the Plomb again, and, sentiment aside, you can’t really beat the feel of a Trusty Cook deadblow, I have larger hands and would prefer a thicker handle, but for the average person, I think it will fit them better. Regardless, it’s a great tool to have in the arsenal and compliments the old wood handles depending on application. Being a steel shaft and head, it’s also an insurance policy if the wood or fiberglass handle versions from other companies break.
